Limassol Wine Festival 1st of August - 30th of September

Limassol Wine Festival is celebrated in the Municipal Gardens of Limassol, about 55 miles from Kyrenia. It is celebrated in the first quarter of September and is open every day from 20:00 hrs to 23:00 hrs. The visitors can get to taste some of the best wines of the world in this festival, offered without any charges.

Seker Bayram 20th - 22nd of September

Seker Bayram, Ramazan or Sugar Festival is celebrated at the end of the fasting month of Ramazan. A number of Cypriots visit mosques. The festival is celebrated with exchange of sweets and gifts among friends and family. There are fares held in various places. The festival celebrations last for three days.

International Cyprus Theatre Festival 1st - 30th of September

The International Cyprus Theatre Festival is celebrated from mid August to the beginning of September. It stages various theatre performances by a number of theatre groups. The shows are held in Kyrenia, Nicosia and Famagusta in Northern Cyprus. A lot of Turkish as well as International theatre work can be seen here.
